I'd posted my first coin for 2015, so figured I'd post the last one from 2014, that I had gotten in December, as well.
    Septimius Severus ar denarius
    Rome mint, c.200-201 AD 3.27g
    Obv: SEVERVS AVG PART MAX
    Septimius laureate head right.
    Rev: RESTITVTOR VRBIS
Emperor standing half-left, sacrificing out of patera
over tripod and grasping inverted spear.
    RIC 167a.
Had a lot of issues in the process of getting this one, but once everything was finally cleared up and I actually received it i was thrilled to have it.

From the image I would say this one should be considered "mint" condition.

Yes, minty-fresh. Add it to the lexicon of erudite numismatic terminology!

Thank you everyone! The reverse portrait was what really drew me to it. First Septimius Severus for my collection.
