Welcome back Zach! the Rhyme was intentional! That's a very open ended question Zach. Each of these series have common date, high MS coins for reasonable (relative) prices and key dates with huge prices. What are you looking to do? If you just want a nice high grade Morgan, look to '79, '80, '81 or '82 from San Francisco mint. In the Peace Dollar look at Philly minted '22 or '23. If you could give us a little more detail on your plan, we could be more helpful.
My apologies for the lack of information.. Let me elaborate!! Whats the going rate for common date VG-F Morgan/Peace Dollars.. I know before I went on my hiatus you could pick them up for around $25 for Morgans and a little less for Peace. I was looking at a few online sites and they're asking $23+ for Peace and $25+ for Morgans. What I use to do is pickup coins in bulk/sell off the ones I dont want.. in doing so the profits normally would be dissolved by me keeping the coins I wanted for my own collection.
No worries Zach. I collect both series in MS, so I don't participate in the VG-F market. I'm sure there will be other members able to give you better advice than I can.
I do this regularly but with different coins. I joined the forum in the middle of your hiatus, but welcome back. If I may ask, why the hiatus? If that's too personal, don't feel obligated to answer.
Hm no reason in particular.. was busy with college and wasn't making that much money. Now that I've graduated and have a full time job I have a lot more money to put towards different things I find interesting. I like the idea of having diversification 401(k).. random stocks.. coins etc. I might have to stop by the coin dealer near me, I haven't gone in to visit in years.. I know he had a nice stash of Morgans in 2x2 .. hmm
