You may have seen me post this today. This is my first real proof like Morgan Dollar, and it is stunning. It is in a PGCS old green holder graded "MS62 PL"
I know some of you have some pretty nice proof like coins, so please post them so me and everyone else can see and admire them.

    Here is mine: 1898 o

This is one of my fav PL's. I have many DPL's, but I bought this one because of it's condition rarity (65 PL). The '21 Morgans look odd to me. They are just a bit off from the original. I'm putting together a Morgan set and wanted this one for my '21 Philly.

Getting 21 proof like is harder than getting a cc imo. Very nice coin, funny you say the design was changed because I once was sure my 21 morgan was fake because of some inconsistencies but cointalk members said it's real and there were changed in 21

After 1904, they destroyed all the Morgan hubs & dies. They had to make new ones. They don't have some of the fine details as the original.

    image.jpg image.jpg I don't have a ton as I prefer actual 19th c proofs but...

1833 NGC MS62 BN PL C-1 - One of a handful for the entire series. The liquid looking area on the reverse is a reflection of the clash marks, adding to the character of the piece. The coin even has a bit of a cameo effect going on.

1941-S NGC MS67 FB PL CAC - The die polish lines (and yes those are die polish lines), are much less conspicuous in hand.

1870 NGC MS64 Half Dime - In a holder ( old no line fatty with gold embossing on the reverse) before NGC started designating these. In hand, the surfaces are deeply mirrored and unquestionably proof like. The mirrors make the blue toning pop.

This will be my last one for now.

You can actually clearly read the letters from the book reflected in this DMPL Morgan.
