All 11 of my pcgs submission coins graded clean (a miracle with pcgs) including a 1827 large cent a friend found in the wall of an old house went ms 61 bn I thought a 58 I'll postem when I get em only took 2 months they recieved them nov 18
I think my goal quarter set would be all the 'standard' size quarters from each date and mint mark combination that is reasonable. So basically going back from the silver proof modern washingtons to the small sized bust quarters. I think that would be a nice layout of coins on a table or two
Ive got 2 PCGS coins that DESPERATELY need reholdered. Both are seated quarters. Ones the pattern and the other is an MS-64 1862 that i have. I should probably talk to Matt over @LostDutchman about sending them off with his next batch.
Give me a nice 1796 a nice 1804 a 1823/2 a 1827 a couple real nice proof barbers and seateds and I'd be happy. A 1927-s ms 67 full head be nice too
I really like colorfully toned proof barber quarters as well. Good call. Man why didnt they make a proof standing quarter. Thatd be sweeter than the 1916, especially if the proof happened to be a Type 1
My Latest: 1902-S Liberty Twenty MS62 PCGS OGH-CAC Minimally abraded for the grade and with gorgeous surfaces. Enjoy! Best Regards, George
OK I know this want impress anybody but it's part of my latest acquisitions. I have had the flu and spent the better part of 6 days just perusing eBay and read old post on CT. Anyhow I was searching auctions for coins in mint cello packaging and came across 1968DS nickels starting at 1 cent with $2.50 shipping. I read down and saw where $2.50 was max shipping regardless of how many auctions you win. Well the had 100's of auctions listed but had 45 starting at 1 cent and I won all 45 for a penny each $2.95 for $2.27 face in original mint cello. The two nickels are pretty nice I just can't take a picture very well with the IPhone, but these two appear to be full steps or at least 5FS and I wanted your opinions especially some nickel experts. Here is a list of what I won. Lincoln Cents 68-74PDS 21 total 76-78PD 6 total 81PD 84PD 85PD 87-91PD 10 total 93-95PD 6 total 98PD 2000PD 2002PD 2003PD Jefferson Nickels 1960-64 Proof 5 total 1965 SMS 64PD 68-70DS 6 total 71-80PD 20 total I reckon beauty and bargains are in the eye of the beholder. 91 uncirculated to up for the grand babies for 45 cents plus shipping.
Got too love it when the mailman shows up. Got the 1966 and 1967 special mint sets in today's mail for a total of $10 and then the FEDEX driver showed up with my NGC MS67RD 1972 Doubled Die Obverse Lincoln CAC certified that I won from HA
