Lipstick on a pig is still a pig.....un searched rolls, boxes , cans, bags,etc,etc..... buyer beware! Ask yourself this if any True Value why not open the roll and double, triple your money. No your going to sell it on e bay and Sucker someone. If it seems to good to be true.....9 times out of 10 it's not!
The guy deals in alot of coins. Seems to me he just took worn loose coins and threw them in a jar for a "wow" factor.
if the seller has time to weigh the jar, photograph it from every angle, and list the coins that are showing you would think he would have time to just go through it...
The feedback from the other jars is... odd. Two buyers said they were happy with them, but didn't intend to open them. Shill activity, perhaps? Scam, scam, scam.
That jar is seeded. Who in their right mind would put currency in with heavy silver coins? As for what the total value may be, you can't see the other side of the coins with high $ for the apparent state of preservation (1994; gold pieces, 1922) so they may have defects that would render them ungradeable.
if you were planting a garden yea, all seeded and plants. lol NEVER trust this sort of thing. If you bid, bid only on the lowest possible value of what you can see and NO more. But I would not do that, since you could buy the same coin you see from a good dealer. No pie in that sky.
Seriously? And almost 18,000 positive... in the last YEAR! I would say 99.9 positive is great for the volume he does.

that is a current ball brand jar they sell in pub lix or walmart the older ones look like this below http://balljarcollectorscommunitycenter.yuku.com/topic/2766#.VLCa_nujvng
zoom in on the '22 wheat and you can see the sillouette of the D mintmark. Just like the "unsearched" wheats, definitely a scam but amazing how many people fall for them.
I doubt it sold. Most of these dont sell. If you look at the bidders most of them have high percentages of their bids with that particular seller, one guy had over 45 bid retractions in 6 months. Most of these sellers shill bid their auctions to make them look desirable.. He will probably rearrange the coins and relist.
