This coin has been in a Whitman album for at least 30 years. It has what I consider typical album toning. Tell me what you think. I know there are quite a few distracting hits on both the obverse and reverse. The steps appear full, but would never get the designation because of the mark running across them. Weak strike? AU? Tell me what you think, you can't hurt my feelings.

Probably MS63. I like the look of it though.

I think it's a weak strike I don't see wear only typical bag marks and hits. I would say MS 63 and if I had it in hand maybe 64. Nice piece.

It is my understanding that the 50D Jefferson was somewhat hoarded back in the day because of its relative short mintage and that there are a lot of them in MS condition. Kind of like the 1883 No Cents Liberty Head nickel.

There are few marks, but the marks that are there are very prominent and deep. I would probably call this MS63, but could see it grading as low as MS62 as a netgrade for the deep marks.

Nice toning. I can't tell if it's AU or MS. If it has any breaks in the luster, it's AU.
Definitely not FS however. The reverse is a weak strike or worn die, which is common for this year/mm.

As mentioned above, they were hoarded and there are plenty of high grade examples available for low prices.

Some of those hits are unfortunate due to their locations...right on some focal points.
