    As longnine009 said, it's a D. Carr piece "UNA 2014 1 Amero, Copper, Semi-Prooflike, Shield Liberty, Pastel Color-Toned"

There were 144 of these made.

    Here's the reverse:

DC is really good at finishes. I have a brass token from him with a bead blast finish.

Wow, 2014 has been quite the year of learning.

My highlights started at the spring Baltimore show where I gave Glenn Holsonbake an extra hand at his stand. Next was Summer Seminar out in Colorado. IMG_3847.jpg I went for the second time ever this year and like the first, it was the best experience of my life. I took grading part one and plan one taking part two next year! We got to handle a bunch of the Saddle Ridge gold coins which was an awesome surprise! IMG_3877.jpg I headed out to Chicago for the Kennedy release. Where this was the common sight for at least 12 hours a day.. IMG_4053.jpg I flew in the first day at 11PM before dropping luggage off at the hotel, sleeping until 2AM and getting in line. I was so tired that first day, after I bought the coin, I didn't even look at it before selling it. We did end up finding the time to stray into town where we went the Sears Tower and had some of the best deep dish pizza ever. IMG_4163.jpg Finished up the year at the last Baltimore show. I could only get down one day-saturday. These shows are becoming more than a place to go to buy coins, but a place to reconnect with people from around the country and I certainly didn't want to miss out on the last opportunity of the year!

torontokuba Thread Crapper & Hijacker, TP please.

I don't really remember purchasing anything with a 2014 date on it. These were acquired more along the lines of a swap or trade arrangement...

My events of 2014 look surprisingly similar to everyone elses!

But maybe that's something special too, with all of us being coin collectors we get to share similar experiences no matter where we actually live!
I did have an amazing year in 2014 getting to own many coins I've never even held before. Attending my 1st "real" coin show in Long Beach, then getting to fly to Chicago for the Kennedy coin's and meeting so many of you in person....and I had a deep dish Pizza too, but from Giordano's ;-)
Here are a couple new ones; everyone loved the fan fair of those Baseball coins!

I think these are a little more rare! To my understanding the Proof-like version had a mintage of 144, but these color toned versions had a max mintage of 80 combined.

No, mine is the Semi-Prooflike, not the color toned.
