Anyone know anything about this TGP?

    - here -

I do not plan to use them. Just curious. Is this another seller owned TGP?

It looks like a self slabber. The type on the slab looks like it came from a regular computer printer, and I'd bet a million dollars that the barcode means absolutely nothing, and is the same on all of his coins.

I have a Coin World capsule around here somewhere, that I can't find to compare with the auction picture, but as I recall it had a logo below the coin opening. Has the picture been truncated to avoid showing that telltale sign of self-slabbing? [IMG]

He has many others listed as "rainbow certified" even though there are several different labels. Nearly all are truncated. see if - this - shows what you need to see.

I predict that by the end of the year there will be more grading services than coin books and there are a lot of them out there now.

Definitely a generic slab, but n_sandler4 does win his bet - identical bar codes on each label. [IMG]

I agree. I pulled up several pics and all the bar codes are the same. I think I will stay away from ebay coin buying..lol

It's definitely a self-slabber who is braindead.I certainly wouldn't bid on any coin that's been slabbed.

Label looks a lot like the quality of label of a PCI slab. I bought a "MS-63" Morgan with a couple of rim dings, and got it for melt, but it fills a slot for now.

Label had perforations on top and bottom from where it looked pulled out of a little kids craft book lol
