1832 half, 1911 nickel

    I see 35 and 55, but it could just be the plastic covering them making it harder to see the luster of the liberty nickel.

    Slightly better lighting on the nickel. Been in that holder for at least 37 years, so it may have yellowed, although there is a tear in the plastic under the 9, which reveals the coin. image.jpg

    I think the Bustie would grade XF-45 with NGC. I would like to see pics of it out of the 2x2 holder.

    I have a collection of 32 of the 1832 Busties (year my GG Grandfather was born)
    16 of them graded by NGC. See my NGC Custom set in my sig below.

    I don't have much experience with V nickels.

    Please take some pics out of the holder. I would get the Bust Half graded. I however don't think it's worth it to get the V Nickel slabbed.

    I like the Bust Half at 40.

    It is really hard to get a read on that nickel.

    Depending upon luster I think the Nickel could go as high as a 64
