There are tons of incredible articles on that site. That's the only other online coin club I'm a part of.
That's awesome. I donno about your area but around here there are very few of us that are into coins and antiques.
Looks like there are a couple coin clubs about an hour from where I live. Haven't checked them out though. Looks like most coin stores around me operate only online.
There is a coin club by me too. My son and I go to the monthly meeting and the closest guy to my age is in his mid 40s. The rest of the people are 60 and up. Honestly I don't mind it. They all treat me and my son like their grand children lol.
pcgs.com/books blog.davidlawrence.com Two (of many) biggies, particularly for those lacking an in-print numismatic library of their own.
Thanks seattle. I was looking on that page and I cant seem to find a list of the errors. am I missing something?
Thanks Ben for the tag. If you guys go to my site....www.southhillscoins.com and on the main page there is a tab titled "Favorite Websites". There are enough websites here to keep you busy for a lifetime! If you also ever come across a site that you feel that I should include, please send me a PM to add it. Thanks!
I think @geekpryde also made a master list around here somewhere of all the interesting sites that still had good links and were coin related. Yo Geek, hit us up with that Link
I didn't make a master list (yet), I should do that this week since I wont be buying coins probably a few months. I did post my own personal list, which I will edit and repost here. geekpryde's Personal Coin links Cert Lookup CAC Certification Lookup NGC Cert Lookup PCGS Cert Lookup Forums CAC Unofficial Collectors Forum Coin Talk NGC Forums PCGS Forums Auctions Collectors Corner GreatCollections Heritage Auctions Legend Rare Coin Auctions Stack's Bowers Auctions Magazines The California Numismatist Mag (free back issues) The Numismatist Mag Back Issues (member back issues) Blogs CoinWeek Legend Hot Topics Legend Market Report Market Blog Rare US Gold Coins Mint News Blog Road Warrior Blog Pretty Galleries BRG Horses coingallery.org Newman Coins and Currency Collection Robec's Images Cremebrule The Vette Set WingedLiberty's Color of Money Collection geekprydecoins Closeups Specialized Info Bugs Bunny Franklin Variety Guide Castine Hoard Cherrypicker's Grotto Coin Market Slang Coin Rarity Scale Coin Shows Coronet Cents Modified Compare DLRC reference books From Frost to Snakeskin Liberty Seated Collectors Club Machine Doubling Mad Die Clashes Mark Goodman Coin Photography Melt Value Of Coins NGC Slab Varieties NumisMedia PCGS Photograde Online Peace Dollars Standing Liberty Quarters - J. Is that the list where you were trawling through all the search engines and verifying the links and pages still worked? I felt like that was more links to various sites.
What you a remembering is work I did for two other Master lists, but they are NOT "info" links: Dealer List: HERE CT History: HERE Still may be helpful to the OP.
Try being an antique dealer who specializes in pre 1830 American furniture when your 20. Been there done that 38 now and still at it among other things
As to coin info pages I find coinfacts and ha archives very handy and for seated dimes Gerry Fortins page is great. Not a tech guy so I specialize more in good old paper books. Those I got a lot of!
