I've bought myself a few coins recently and added to my obsession of the West Indian coins I also have a couple of Pfennig pieces of Brunswick- wolfenbuttel karl II but with George IV as his regent.
These are all sellers pics right now if any are better I will upload better, just won the Columbia farthing and am quite pleased with it
Thanks jello, I've not really had anything in a while and I've been working hard so thought I would have a splurge !
Here's a good one, it's been slabbed which is unusual for me to buy but there's only a few for sale and I got it cheap ! Brunswick- Wolfenbuttel 1820 2/3 Thaler. The duke was an minor in Carl II so George IV acted as his regent which is something I've only recently learned myself. So he was regent to his father of the uk and Hannover and also for this duchy. Here's the x2 I Pfenning pieces of his regency too which have legends that better explain the situation than this piece of silver.
these wreath crowns are in much demand, mintage 15,030-only minted in proof--a nice coin value £200 plus---well done
The 2/3 Thaler arrived yesterday and i took my own pictures and im so impressed with the coin im so happy with it theres something oddly impressive with it !
