Today I was going through some junk silver. So for the fun of it I scoped three coins out. One I believe we can nail it down as for the next two cases well it's your call. Feel free to copy the images and edit them to prove your point. You may also use editing to draw arrows etc. The first case" The 1890 Seated Liberty Dime."
The 1890 SLD in question was minted in Philadelphia her mintage was 9,910,051 she's not a key coin ...but she's has some value.....even in her condition. 1890 SLD obv..jpg 1890 SLD rev..jpg date 1890.jpg

Have a look and let's see where this goes....... I summit the evidence above. Found in some scrap silver this 1890 SLD was scoped. As the prosecutor I say she's hiding something ...... what evidence is she withholding? You may need some bright light or a rubber hose to beat it out of her. :)

    1890 no. 102 blundered date.

    I can't use arrows -- I don't know how... but:

small evidence of (light) 1st date to right of Liberty -- half way below the top of the Y.
the second to the bottom of the left fold in the gown.

the 3rd-- too worn to be seen.

    I rest my case

Beneath the "9", the top, inner loop of the "8" appears to be intact while more than half of the lower, inner loop is visible. Beneath the "0", the top, inner part of the loop of the "9" is visible.

If you need more specifics, you'll have to ask Bubba!:woot:

I'm too old for law school, and the only latex I ever used is now unnecessary.

The reason I thought it might be a 90-over-89 is because I thought about the 80-over-79 Morgan dollar and how they transitioned the remaining dies instead of destroying them.
