I just received a couple neutrals from this guy. A while back he bought several coins, opened a few return cases without even contacting me. When asked why, he said he was buying coins for a buyer he had to grade, and didn't think these would do. They were NOT listed as unc. Gave him a full refund, thought I was done with him. Now he left neutrals. Looks like I got lucky, cause he has left probably over 50 negatives in the past month! Leaving bad feedback for coins as described, for which I gave a full refund? BLOCK! Buyer ID is hcj64168
Wow that guy leaves so much negative feedback. It is really unfortunate that there are buyers like that on there.
I can understand negatives in some situation, but not where a coin is as listed, and the buyer offered a full refund with no problems. Basically, if he doesn't like the coin he receives, you get a bad feedback. Really messes up peoples good record too.
This buyer is odd. In the past year he's purchased 277 items. That's not what's odd. This is all with one seller: In the past month, he purchased 44 items from galleriacoinbuyers. Total purchase: $26,078.81 All Coins RAW Left 38 negatives Left 6 positives I can't begin to explain this behavior. First, buying raw gold coins on eBay a big No, No!! Second, Why spend so much with one seller, only to leave him 86% Negative feedback? You'd think after bad experiences with one or two coins, you'd not go back to the same seller. Is the buyer trying to squeeze this seller? He's left plenty of positive feedback for other sellers. Did he have a bad experience with the above buyer and want to get back at him? This is just crazy behavior in my opinion.
WOW, that guys likes to nuke sellers with 100% ratings. A read through them, seems justified in some, but really, he ought to seek returns before hand. Some of the others seem like, well, what do you expect from raw, cleaned coins with mediocre photos?
I sell raw gold, so would not saying buying it is a no no, you just have to be careful. He apparently is buying to grade for a buyer he already has, so basically he is using ebay as a place to try to find high grade raw coins to submit. He needs to look at pictures better. My coins were NOT unc, and not listed that way. He leaves bad feedback saying they are not unc.... well, duh!
It sounds to me like the scumbag is "trawling" for raw coins hoping that he will get some unexpected winners and anything no good, he sends back. It seems to me that SleazeBay should ban him. Chris
There was a Dilbert cartoon years back that comes to mind. Catbert has an idea to offer a $1000 product for $1,001,000 with a $1 million rebate and all he needs is one lazy rich person to succeed. I wonder if he's hoping for refunds without having to return the coins? Or he's cherry picking, but given that the buyer usually has to pay return shipping, it doesn't seem like the best way to go about it.
He is blocked,Thanks for the info. This guy buys from the same sellers over and over and still leaves negative comments,
This is all with one seller: In the past month, he purchased 44 items from galleriacoinbuyers. Total purchase: $26,078.81 All Coins RAW Left 38 negatives Left 6 positives Does it strike anyone else as unusual that this seller would NOT block this buyer after, say, maybe the FIRST neg, MAYBE perhaps maybe the SECOND neg (if I were to get a neg, which I haven't in all my time as a seller, knock wood, I'd have blocked him after the first one).......but this seller allowing him to CONTINUE to purchase from him, only to accumulate 38 negs????? Something does not sound right, not at all. Either something is seriously wrong with this seller (it IS ebay, so I'll give it a 50/50 chance the seller is 'not right in the head'), or (and I think it's obvious) something is DEFINITELY wrong with the buyer. Either way, something is seriously wrong here.
Yes, but only with SNAD claims. Or did that change too? Is that what he did? I would absolutely report him to ebay for abusing their claim system, especially if the communication where he stated the reason for his dissatisfaction was within the ebay message system. Again, this is based on the type of claim he filed, but if he did file a SNAD claim against you based on the reasons he gave, and your auction was as you described it, then I would think this would actually fall into the category of fraud.
All of his feedback has been left "during the past month". That is of course awfully vague, but if you look at the fourth page of feedback, there was a response left on Dec 30, 2014. So, we have ten pages of feedback left "during the past month" and a response on page four that was left today. I'm thinking this buying activity was conducted all at once, so the sellers may not have had a chance to block him.
He did all of his buying from the seller awhile ago, and just now left all the feedback. Same with me. Bought many items, then later started causing the problems.
It has changed. You can click on start a return, then pretty much make the seller take it back, and pay for it, without opening a claim.
