Hey, I have a few very interesting serial numbers on a few bills that I have. I was wondering if someone could provide more information, or maybe if they are worth anything more then face value. The first one is a series 2009A $100 bill. The serial numbers are 'LC 03157030*'. Another series 2009A bill with 'LL 70100206'. Series 2009A with LL 09592615'. I have 3 series 2009A bills in sequence: LB 50337722, LB 50337723, LB 50337724. The next 3 in sequence are 'LB 50337727, LB 50337728, LB 50337729. Also have 2 more series 2009A bills with 'LB 50337715' and 'LB 50337710'. And the last one I have (Also my fav. one) is a Series 2006A $100 bill with the numbers 'KJ 55001199' If anyone knows anything about the value of these, please let me know. (I'm a bit new to collecting, so please go easy on me.) Thanks.
When asking about the value of coins and/or notes, ALWAYS, post scans of both front and back, because grade or condition will ALWAYS inform value, if any exists beyond face. At this point without seeing the notes, face value and none of them are "fancy" serial numbers as shown in the link above. A serial number alone doesn't command value. Notes are dependent on survival rates, low mintages, and above all, condition. If these notes are absolutely Gem grade, and you wanted to save some of them, then the 2006 $100 listed last and, maybe, maybe... the sequential notes could be put away (for a long time). If they are bumped and even have slight folds, don't bother. But really, I would suggest using the notes you have to buy something else, such as a rare note, perhaps one with a fancy SN if that interests you.
I'll go easy here, but what made the 2009A serial numbers interesting to you besides the sequential ones?
They're just repeating numbers that interest some people to potentially pay more for notes (see URL above) And, no, you're not being trolled.
