    Hi Coinfriends,

    i wanted to share this different portrait, it seem his mouth is open.


    Hadrian Denarius Roma 132-34 AD Fortuna

    reference.

    Obv: HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS
    Lauderate head right.

    Rev: COS III PP In ex FORT RED
    Fortuna seated left holding rudder on Globe and cornucopiae

    I can't tell if the lips are open or the die cutter was trying to make the lips thicker, more lifelike. Nice coin regardless.

    Thats cool, ive seen some portrait with what looks like the mouth partly open. It isnt often though.

    always reminds me of the u s army engineers , lol...dad was one of those in korea.
