1993-D cents Extra Columns Error?

    Here are two different 1993-D cents with extra columns (doubled reverse).
    Are they doubled reverse errors? I know it's documented that there are column errors, and the other 1993-D cents I looked at do not have these extra columns, namely in the first bay. Thanks in advance.

    To the west of the 2nd column might merit a further look, but it could also be plating issues. You could always send it in to John Wexler at doubleddie.com

    Yeah, that's the extra column I'm referring to. Also, in the first penny (very first and second pics show this), you can see a sunburst pattern, sort of like the rays of a sun, emanating out of or behind the building and to the left/west. Not sure what that is.

    Those lines you are seeing are die scratches that are probably from a polishing brush.
