I wish I had access to all the coins that go trough the casino’s here in Oklahoma. My wife is a cashier at one of them, and she has seen a lot of nice coins come trough (probably someone’s collection). The cashiers are not allowed to sort trough the coins, but sometimes they are allowed to buy them at the end of their shifts. She has brought home everything from silver, proofs, and unc’s. Every once in a while some nice ones end up in her tip jar. One Einstein brought in some $20 gold pieces, and sold them at face value. She wasn’t around to get in on that deal, but I have obtained some pretty nice stuff. I haven’t found anything to get me rich... but… what to her is free, is money in the bank to me. Here is a couple of my recent finds. If only I was an Indian chief.
Use to be like when I was working at the NYS Bridge Authority, We could buy anything as long as the money balances out at the end of the shift.
