Guess The Grade....1962 Proof Franklin

    This is a burnt orange toning actually quite pretty.

    Pics are too dark...haRd to see the luser and the surface beneath the toning

    I had one that looked quite a bit like that, cut straight out of OGP that got the dreaded artificial toning. I know for a fact that it was cut from an original proof set but alas. I hope yours did better.

    No way to grade a proof from your images, but I'll guess PR-66

    Based on the pictures, the best I can do is guess a range - PR-64 - 67. No cameo.

    Pictures are so dark it is hard to tell if it is proof or ms. But I meant PF-62

    I was thinking PR66 also. Mine is very similar.....also a PR66.

    So, does that color come from the mint cellophane? I like it.

    I have my suspicions it comes from the cellophane because I have more Franklins in various stages of the burnt orange toning. But one never knows for sure.

    Here is my other one that I had graded with the burnt orange. Not as pretty as the first one.
