Got a copy of the CherryPickers Guide today

    Jen, just got back from town and picked me up a copy of this Whitman Guidebook by Fivaz and Stanton with a forward by David Bowers. It's in a Binder type of format with a hard cover. My question, Is it any good? It looks like an interesting reference guide and anything out by Mr. Bowers catches my attention.

    She's a pretty good old gal, Jen that is, LOL...

    IMO - it's the best all around variety guide there is ;)

    Much obliged. ;) There isn't much in there for Bust Halves, but I've got some other stuff in my collection besides the Capped Bust Stuff. This will get me to haul out my Morgans, LOL... :D

    Your right anything with David Bowers on it has to be good, I just got his new book Buffalo and Jefferson nickels he knows his stuff about all coins.

    he is an excellent writer and a wonderful source of info. i've read many of his books and was an avid subscriber to the old auction house of bowers and ruddy..what great catalogues!! i have heard of people using the cherry picker guides with great success.....i wish you the very best in your hunt for hidden treasures!!!!.....steve
