Doubled or not, the coin looks trashed from corrosion. Be careful on what you buy as you may regret it later. (Like when you decide you've had enough of this baloney and decide to sell what you have.)
As long as the OP knows going in it's a problem coin and he spends a couple bucks on it why not buy it if it's something he wants to collect. But I wouldn't spend more than a couple bucks.
thank you to everyone,, since the coins was made out of bronze do you think there is a possibility that it might have some life left?
OP, if the price is right.. buy the coin. As long as your happy with it, why not? You know how many 1877 Indian Head Cents I see that are FAR worse than this coin in collections.
ok here is the other that is heavily clashed but also comes with a nice ddo,,second pic is a normal coin..
eddio, if you are into doubled die coins and not for a particular country or denomination, save your money you want to spend and start looking at ones that are really in great shape (no corrosion or other things that will severely devalue the coin). Then you have a much better chance of loving the coin a long time after you've bought it, and you stand a better chance of selling it for more than junk value when and if you decide to sell it.
thanks, i am just trying to get one from every country for as little money as possible these two fit that category,,cheers
