They say "Make love not war." I understand the similarity in the expression of the word make. They also say Make money. Man, I had a couple of drinks. It's Christmas Eve. Still Astarte remains for me " The Goddess of Charm ". Charming Eyes. Merry Merry Christmas To All Of YOU

That statue (of the kneeling Astarte) does not look ancient to me. It has a modest pose unlike the vast majority of ancient statues. The face and hair look to be a modern style, unlike severe and serious styles usually seen BC. How can I question its antiquity given supposed facts such as "Unearthed and found in Sidon"? It just doesn't look right.

Sculpture and Statues differ from coins. Remember the ancient statues of Venus and Aphrodite. Anyway, I did not invent the period " Third century BC " nor the statue design. Check it out please unless you want me to look after the statue myself and ask for permission to photograph it. The Phoenicians were very innovative people.
