The website says that the JFK half dollar is the largest coin ever produced..... I can think of at least 5 off the top of my head bigger than that.
"Uncirculated U.S Kennedy Half Dollars are not available in any bank or General Circulation." If that is true than getting P and D 2013 rolls of halves from my bank, plus a solid box of 1999 Halves, plus most halves I find in my boxes are uncirculated due to halves rarely circulating was a paranormal phenomenon. But remember, it is made on "a Genuine U.S. Kennedy Half Dollar in FULL COLOR!!!!!!!", WOW, A GENUINE U.S. Half Dollar, IMPOSSIBLE!!!! Did you know that they also plate coins in GENUINE 24k Gold!!! It's sad to see how many people do not know that plating is just a microscopic layer of gold that can easily wear of worth aprox. .0002 cents in gold.
Largest U.S. coin. Still the Silver dollar is bigger, including the modern clad Ike, the $50 gold pattern piece is bigger, the Capped bust half is bigger (bigger diameter but thinner) Also, The America the Beautiful 5 ounce silver bullion is bigger.
Actually, the only way one could have gotten the 2013 Ken's was to purchase them from the mint. Someone searched the rolls, came upon nothing interesting and resultantly dumped them at the bank. Nice find though......
They were in unopened "USMINT.GOV" Rolls, along with some USMINT.GOV 2010 rolls. I was thinking of not keeping them but I decided that they were worth it.
