Hi guys, Just spent a considerable amount of time trying to understand what the FS-401 Cheerio is compared to FS-902 Cheerio. None of the searches made it very clear. Can someone explain? Thanks
Like Larry said, there is no FS-401 listed in the CPG for a 2000-P Sacagawea "Cheerios" Dollar. Chris
Coin Facts lists the piece only as FS-902, and usually when there are multiple reference numbers, it will provide them all.
The 4th Edition of the CPG incorrectly listed it as FS-901, but that was eliminated in the 5th Edition. It's possible that PCGS made a mechanical error on data entry, making it 401 instead of 901. They aren't perfect, ya know. Chris
OK...maybe... sounds reasonable. I did read somewhere (i think) that they changed the number to 902 to avoid confusion with wounded eagle which is 901.
