hi all! had a good day buying and getting coins today. first, we went to the flea market. i went to my dealer i usually i go to and bought- 5 rolls of wheat cents, 4 silver quarters, 2 franklin halves, and 2 2007 golden GW dollars. i also got a loupe. in the 5 rolls of wheats i got-1920(2),1929(2),1930,1934(2),1935(2),1936(7),1937,1938(2),1939(4),1940(3),1940S,1941D,1941(5),1942(5),1942D,1943,1944(17),1944D(7),1944S,1945(16),1945D(4),1946(8),1946D(3),1946S(2),1947D,1947S,1948(2)1948D(2),1948S,1949,1950(5),1950D(6),1951D(9),1952D(19),1953D(15),1953S(2),1954D(2),1955D(9),1956D(36),1957D(18),1958D(19). in quarters i got- 1910D, 1946D, 1955D, 1958. in half dollars i got 1952S and 1960. i also bought 2 new washington dollars. i got a good loupe for $7 too. when we left the flea market, we stopped at a gas station to get a soda. i got a soda, handed the cashier a $5 bill, and got a nice 2003 serial number 09982689* star note! i was suprised.its in pretty nice condition too. no rips but it is kindof wrinkled. as for the rolls of wheats, they were $2 a roll. the quarters were $2.50 apiece. i like the 1910D because it lookes like it was a piece of jewery at some time. it looks cool also. i know that ruined the value though.:( its in nice shape too. all the other quarters are in nice shape too. i bought the halves for $5 apiece, these are in pretty nice shape too. well, i had a nice day!:hammer:

Neat looking barber. Also, it might be an illusion becuase of the cuts, but the rim looks large.

Awesome! For some reason my dealer sells his at under spot. Like I could pick up silver quarters for 1.85, and halves for 4. But not bad prices. Cograts on the star! Doesn't look like you had a bad day your self! That barber looks awesome. Even thoug ruined, it look kind of cool. Very nice!

That is certainly an interesting baber half! Does it still fit in a half dollar sized holder?

its a barber quarter. i tried to put it in a whitman coin folder, but it does not fit. the coin is larger than a normal quarter. when they made the cuts, it must have made the rim larger.
