1909 Lincoln - What's the grade?

    I would guess 64 RB. It might even go to 63 with those observe rim nicks.

    I think its a 58 as well.....looks like just a little rub on it.

    Looks like a high end AU, just something about it, but wouldn't surprise me if it graded a 62. Very nice coin.

    The coin has AU details but I think it has been cleaned and lightly polished.

    I agree with Doug. The pink color is a giveaway, as is the artificial luster.

    Thanks guys! I bought it on ebay a few years back for $7.00 described simply as "1909 penny". I guess I can't really complain for that kind of money.

    I'd say for 7 dollars it was fine despite being cleaned, as it has very nice details. Unfortunately in the past I have paid far more for far worse. :(
