I believe this is the 0-103, but whats with the date? I thought this coin was fake at first, it has a whole bunch of wierdness going on. I put my initials on it, in case it gets stolen.;)

Looks like a heavy die clash and die cracks. The anomaly around the date is the clash from the E PLURIBUS UNUM ribbon on the reverse.

It's good. I think what you might be seeing around the date may be a product of die wear. From the multiple clashes you can see it is a well used die.

Genuine coin. O-103. I'd say Vf20 or 25 details. Good call with the initials. Safe. Smart.

According to my Overton Book, it is a O-103, Obv. 3 & Rev. C

Most specimens show numerous clash marks on Obv.

Rev - Heavy die defect ridge joins central part of left wing to scroll below E in E Pluribus Unum

I can only see a B and would suggest to add a K as well so it's clear that's your coin.

1814 o-103 massive die clashes all over it totally real weak rims. Looks like major flow lines on the rims as some busts have. A vf coin without the initials

Nice coin , with late die state and some nice clash marks . Too bad about the B . I do agree with the O-103 . Love those flow lines and stars .

    Nice.
    Nope, not a fake.
The reverse die crack is the easy identifier.

    Oops, I forgot.

Good thing you put your initial there, just in case of loss.

    :)
