don't mean to be a pesterbug but Im trying to learn all this stuff..well at least some of it. Do die cracks make the coin worth more?

I was checking out my tombac nickel and noticed two definite die cracks running through Georges head..poor guy..lol
One runs from his temple area, into his ear and another crack runs from the bottom of his neck at the front point, up through the ear and almost to the top of his head. Both cracks intercept in the ear where they are more pronounced.

I checked them thoroughly and they are not scratches

Please dont hit me. I am old and bruise easily..lmao

There are people who collect coins with die breaks. Business strike coins with die cracks are fairly common. Proof coins with cracks are more uncommon and might sell for a little more $. Unusual or strange cracks on a coin could also increase the cost.
Not an expert, just thoughts from my years collecting.

As a general rule, no they do not add any value to a coin.
