Off Center Barber Dime

I picked this up recently. I was photographing it this morning and thought it would be fun to share.

10 cents was a lot of money back then though!

If you found an off center $100 bill today and that was the only bill you had to buy food or pay bills.... whatcha going to do?

Matt, do you have your own collection of coins, or is everything you get in for sale? I can't imagine selling everything.... gotta throw something in the safe and forget about it right?

 

Thanks! No, I can't collect anymore... I'd never get a paycheck. I get to collect vicariously through my regular customers who I get to help put together collections... some very basic... cent books ect. I also have a couple customers who have #1 PCGS registries that I get to help assemble. I get much more enjoyment out of that.

 

Okay, now that's cool.

 

I actually have one, now it's only about 10-15% off, but it is dated.

It's funny how some off center strikes are really nice strikes. I have a boat load of Jefferson nickels that are off centered from 95%-5% what I found strange as well as NGC when some were graded that over 90% had full steps!You can't find some spot on Jefferson strikes with full steps.

 

What's the price on this one?
