One of my favorite world gold coins is this one. A 1930 5 Pesos Uruguay. The design is a nice simple one but yet has hints of art deco. Another reason I find this coin so collectable is the fact the mintage. An est. mintage was 100,000 coins however only 14,415 were released the rest melted. Here's one of mine that's not quite 1/4 oz but still pretty neat.

    ALBANIA. 20 Franga Ari, 1927-V.
Portrait bust of Prince Skanderbeg on obverse.

Don't you wish they minted coins like this today?
Simple but yet so appealing to the eye!
