I know it has marks in the pics but is much better in hand, it looks aUNC to me.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Is this a copper coin? The dark spots on the reverse concern me - I would evaluate for potential environmental damage.

In the American grading scale, I'd call it AU-50.

Indeed it is copper, I thought that nothing I can really do about that now though is there ?

Nothing you can really do about dark spots on copper and bronze coins. Any attempt to try and "fix" it will just cause more damage. It's still a nice and original AU example of an uncommon coin.

I love the King George obverse coins! That's a real beauty you've got!

    I'd say this, at best.

If this were my coin, I'd treat it with some Verdi-Care.

I don't think that I can get it here in the Uk. I'll probably just leave it I getting a better example anyway since I had a brain fart.

The coin is just fine as it is, don't bother with verdi-care or any other products.
