There are no battery operated Dino-Lite Microscopes that I'm aware of. The best seller for me is the Dino-Lite AM3111 Premier digital handheld microscope has natural color technology providing colors true to their original appearance. The AM3111 is the newer version of the AM3011 with updated housing. It also has enhanced low light capabilities where you can see objects clearly when there is minimal light available. The AM3111 has a refresh rate up to 30fps at 640 × 480 resolutions (0.3MP) and can magnify objects up to 230x depending on working distance. Don’t need to worry about not having lights to illuminate objects as there are built in LED lighting that can be turned on or off depending of the situation. If your going to be doing production work, web sites or ebay I would recommend the Dino-Lite Premier AM4113ZTL digital handheld microscope features longer working distance, an adjustable polarizer, and enhanced 1280 × 1024 resolution (1.3MP) sensor, providing a microscope that has high magnification at a nice working distance with the ability to reduce glare and have advanced image quality. Variable magnification depending of distance with a max magnification of 90x with a minimum working distance of approximately 5cm away. Having a Dino-Lite with longer working distance is great for applications that require a certain space between object and microscope to either work under or require a certain distance to view. With the adjustable polarizer, you can adjust the amount of glare that reflects from what you are viewing, so you can see fine details of surfaces by fully or partially removing the reflection of semi-transparent materials like; jewelry, glass, or plastic. It is also ideal for examining highly reflective materials, such as metals or solder joints. The stands are sold separate.
