Fowled up quarter

    My bank gave me this quarter (free) today, I am wondering if some of you in CT might have an idea of what happened to it, it weights the same as a 1973 cent and is a tiny bit thinner than a quarter, the top and bottom edge sticks out farther than the center (if that makes sense) it look's like it's been painted, but it hasn't, sounds kind of like silver, it's not, some of the details have been obscured.

    Looks like post mint to me. Maybe found in a parking lot after it has been ran over a few times? Only if money could talk.

    Do you think maybe the containment field had a partial failure while its owner was being beamed aboard? :rolleyes:

    I think it laid on an asphalt road for awhile ovver a small (tiny) hole in the road
