ARE we supposed to wait until Christmas to open? I was planning to open mine on receipt.

Mine was delivered yesterday, so i know its there and we'll have to wait to see...

 

We have a week yet. If there's enough interest in it we could start it Christmas Eve. I just thought it might be neat to have a present thread since this one is already over 10 pages..

 

I don't mind if we start a new one. The length of a thread is a mute point, IMO, because when I get an alert in my email that a new message is posted, the link delivers me to the last post I read. I don't have to re-read all 10 pages nor click through them all to get to the latest post. If I'm already on site, the Alert at the top of the screen does the same. If I'm lost in a thread, I just click "go to first unread".

Since all who are taking part in this have come to it through this thread, I don't see why we should break away from it, but if we do, I'll follow the other thread and come up to speed on any new posts in either of them, the same I way I do here, new post, follow the link, read the newest post.

 

Mailed today to some weird state in the middle of Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, and a big puddle.

Got mine in today, thanks Santa. I'm going to try and restrain myself from opening it. This isn't going to last long though.

 

Finally got mine out. I'm stuck in law school finals hell so it took a bit long. Put together a nice package though!

 

Oh man! I got mine today and managed to get it under the tree. Mine also is headed to the post to my recipient. Kirk, nice job! That's a heck of a lot of participants. Here's fingers crossed for smooth sailing all the way through!

I checked my tracking number it at there the post office but not yet marked delivery. But in the city were mine was to go.

 

mine was mailed out today with tracking should be there Friday. hope they like them.

 

Hopefully I'll make the cut for next year - in the meantime I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else received.

Yeah, I don't think I've made it until Christmas yet. We'll see if I can wait in my 3rd year....

 

Sadly we had a member who was unable to ship out for personal reasons. He contacted me and let me know that he couldn't ship anything out. So I contacted @krispy who selflessly jumped at the opportunity to help make sure that their recipient still received a gift. Thank you Krispy for your generosity, it is what the holidays are all about. You rock!

 

Mine has been received, opened, and admired! One coin already has a place of honour amongst my other Newfoundland coins! I will take a picture eventually.

Well I was totally gonna wait but I recieved a package today from Singapore that looked like a cd. And I'd just ordered some CDs I was awaiting. So when I opened it and found a heavy metal cd from a band I'm familiar with but don't have any of their music and 2 ancient coins I realized it was my ct secret Santa gift. Sorry about the bad pics. I'm lousy at photos and these are my first 2 ancient coins!! I'm absolutely THRILLED!! With my gift! Thanks SO MUCH!!!
