As far as I can tell it matches very close. WE is dead on as is TRUST. The date matches except the 19 on mine looks a tad thinner. Nice faint separation on gOD.

I'm sorry, but modern DDOs bother me very much. Even with your very nicely magnified photos, I cannot, for the life of me, find anything that indicates DDO. If that is a DDO, based on whatever Cherrypickers or variety you are following, then congratulations.

 

I'm just going by the "Coppercoins" website. They list about 20 ddo's for 1983. Most of them are class 6 like mine. I just found a couple of 2009 DDO's and they look less exciting than this one.

1DO-012 which is listed on Coppercoins is a class VI. Yours is not a match.

 

Well I have been dry finding anything! My daughter just found a 1983-D, I think it's a ddo LOL. I will post it later with high hopes for her (why can't I find my own)
So which one do you think your cent resembles at copper coins?

TRUST looks very different from this and the 8 on the close up looks norm.

 

tomfiggy, have you ever checked the weight of the 1983 (p)?
Should it weigh 3.1 g, it could be a error copper from the 1982 change over, if it has a weight of 2.5 g it is not, though you probably know that.

Must be a yet undiscovered one. A lot of the ones on Coppercoins aren't listed anywhere else, and they aren't very doubled. The 83's have thicker 8 and 3's but don't show much doubling.
