Hello. Two things struck my curiosity in this Byzantine coin. First its weight being 8.25 g. despite the fact that it's a half Follis, I mean there's the letter K on reverse. Secondly, there doesn't seem to be any Bronze disease on this coin despite the fact that it looks very old , with a lot of wear. I like always to read your your comments and your assistance in better identifying this bronze Byzantine.. Thanks... Charles
It can only be Anastasius, Justin, or Justinian by type. Might be hard to narrow down further lacking legends. BD is more of a soil condition or contamination issue more than age sir. Most bronzes this old or older never have BD.
