I have apparently received my secret Santa gift before any of you folks.
I am the very happy recipient of my secret Santa present. It arrived today from my European secret Santa. The coin-talker sent me a rather flashy MS65 slabbed coin of Belgium. It is the special one cent IMO not only because it was a thoughtful gift but because this Belgian coin has the legends in French language.

Very nice piece! Whoever gets mine will be surprised by the declared value ... and then bitterly disappointed. The post office guy simply entered €100; maybe that is the insured minimum amount, dunno. But sorry, that is definitely not what's in the envelope ...

Correct, international shippers received their addresses a week earlier to allow everyone to get their gifts on time for Christmas. Some packages are traveling to Germany and Singapore.

I will start pairing people up tonight to get everybody their recipients information to all of the Santas by Sunday at the latest. I will start sending out information tonight, but with 80 PMs to send, it may take a while.

 

I hope you can get those addys to us soon! I had inquired about the shipping addresses a few days ago because it's getting kinda tight now for domestic shipping to be sure to complete delivery on time for the holiday. It's a busy time of year for parcels and peoples who travel and have other holiday prep going on. Being this day of the 12th is passing now, items might not start to ship until the 15th for some at the earliest, leaving 9 postal business days before the holiday on the 25th. Santa comes but once a year!

wow, nice coin. I collect Belgium coins and this type. my coin I bought off Ebay I got in the mail today. it was mailed from France. lol

it is now the king of my collection.

I will likely make it to Christmas, I've done that for a number of years so far. . . Now as to the SS gift..... hmmmmmmmmmmm.... maybe not.

 

I'd like a 1916-D Mercury Dime lol. Seriously though I am not picky about what I get but I would prefer NO US Mint Sets.

 

All in the spirit of things dear fellow. You could be paired with a YN who has little to give, yet what he provides may be all that he has. T's the season of giving and keeping with such, a man (once long ago) said to a 'rich man' 'sell all you have, and give it to the poor'. The rich man was most disappointed. He felt it very hard to part with his 'worldly goods'.......but the true meaning of Christmas is giving........that of yourself, no matter what that may be.......

The world would be a better place indeed if we could all practice thus.

 

I'm just anxious to get this together and hopeful I can get the goodies to the receiver on-time for the holiday!
