Help ID Coin from Iran (Has that Silver "ring" to it)

    Very small. Pictured with a wheat cent for size. I tried looking up by date but didn't see anything this small.

    Iran is were the coin is from . A few better photos would help us tell you more information about it.

    It might be from 1940, or thereabouts. Hard to tell with that type of date.

    I can't find a match for the reverse either. I thought these pics would be good enough for a proper ID.

    Is the silver ring some kind of mounting? I have several silver coins myself that has this "ring". But I can't seem to find some kind of split mark or soldering on any of these rings.
