Digital Microscope output: USB, Micro USB, etc.

I know that most, if not all, digital microscopes have USB cables. But I have heard that some folks run the output to their Android tablets (or iPads).

If true, is this accomplished via an adapter?

I don't think the OS is going to be a problem (Android) but your best bet would be to go to Apple directly for an adapter. Try a live chat on their site. At least you would have the option to return if they were wrong and it's better than fishing online at ebay or such and make a mistake. Just an opinion of course.

 

I don't have a microscope, yet. I have an Android tablet and phone. Just trying to plan ahead.
