Washington Quarter Grade Needed

Any ideas on this quarter's grade?

Really hard to tell from the pics, looks ok. Surfaces look good, lustre looks good, strike seems a bit weak on the reverse, but that can be typical. The obverse has a some chatter in the fields and what looks like roll friction on Washingtons cheek and at the base of the bust, again pretty typical. I'm gonna say somewhere between [edited] MS-63 and MS-64.

 

I bought it as Choice BU for $10, I got many other nice high grade silver quarters, some of them he graded as MS-64-65, my coin dealer tends to grade low, he said that this coin would be from 61-62, but I figured it would be some where around 63 or slightly higher. I love the satiny luster on this one, there are a few small unnoticeable contact marks as seen in the photo, but I don't think it is too bad.

 

I'd say MS64. Seems to be troublesome to get these guys in very high grades from TPG's without nice color and an above average strike.

 

I'd wager it is a 63 or 64. $10 is about the price I would expect to pay.

 

Hard to tell from the pix, but I'd say at least 64. It depends how much stuff is going on on the obverse.

MS64 IMO. too much chatter on the field in front of Washington's face and on his cheek to go much higher than that.

That's a beautiful, frosty coin that looks like a true MS65.

 

I just have these coins in a coin binder in little 2x2 cases in my coin binder, trying to complete an UNC 1940-1964 set of washington quarters.

Because any uncirculated quarter in the 1930's is too expensive lol, I do have one 1932 p Au/Bu quarter though. I usually buy an UNC Morgan and one or two UNC Silver Quarters when I go to my coin shop on the weekends.

 

I was looking at my photo and noticed it looked slightly like the 1946 s over s mintmark. I was take new photos.

Any ideas?
