1935 DDR buffalo nickel?

    Do tell. Instead of simply saying no, perhaps you could explain why and/or tell us exactly what it is. While my eyes are not what they used to be, from what I can see I have to agree with treashunt; it certainly looks like a strong candidate.

    From what I see, the split serifs are very clear.

    I just did not see any split serifs .But looking at it again, it may be
    a long shot. Would that be in the CPG?

    I say definitely yes. I just sold a PCGS certified 1935 S DDR and the doubling want this pronounced.

    Wow. Thanks for all the replies guys! I had someone tell me that it could of been machine doubling? If it is a true DDR, what do you think its worth?

    Mine was graded F15 and sold for maybe $40-$50, but it was PCGS certified.

    It has a low population of certified ones, but it's not a goldmine. Certification costs could eat up most of your profit though.

    Correction, mine sold for $58 so it might be worth while to send off.
