I saw a commercial on tv this morning that I got a kick out of. The ad was trying to sell the new washington dollars. Thier deal was "special" though. They are selling 20 coin rolls that " you can't get through the us mint". They are I believe graded by IGC and are guaranteed to be ms 63 or better (wow!), but they just come in a tube and does not appeared to be sealed, but I could be wrong. They say its a several hundred dollar value and sell for $50. You can guess how fast I ran to the phone to order $20 worth of coins for $50.;)
If I see the commercial again I will pay more attention to the details, or if any body else has they can clairify the details also.
I just can't believe enough people buy these to pay for the advertising.:rolling:

I've seen coins for sale on t.v. before and they just plain out lie. They had an "uncirculated" 1883 v-nickel that was very fine at best. And they said it was the first nickel, the shield nickel was.

No, they don't really lie - they just don't know what they are talking about

    Ok

I saw the commercial this morning and paid more attention. They are selling the 20 coin roll for $49.95 plus $5.95 shipping. They are graded 63 or better by ICG and the roll appears to be taped shut with the ICG label. I ran to the phone to order some, but I have dial-up so I can't call and surf at the same time!! Oh well ,my loss I guess. I'll just have to settle for a roll of 25 from the bank.;)
