This caught my eye while roll hunting. The die scratch/gouge is "under" the motto, and across the head. Sorry about the glare. Could it be the dreaded plating bubble?
Linear plating bubbles ..... Could call it the Spike head cent Which coin is called the Spike head anyways? This cent looks very neat though.
Nice! I find many of these hunting B.U. rolls. Some are very extreme, like flashes of bullets. I put them aside.
