    Could this be Rare?

Nope. Looks like someone ground down the reverse on a penny or half penny.

OK, well; there are no signs of that here. The coin shows obvious strike pressure

    Weighs 9.4 grams after calibration

Also, strange enough; what's left of the design does not match precisely to other GeorgeV coins of this series

And, the third digit; even though compacted, is a 3

It was very hard for me to decipher because of the uniface

Here is another pic. Its very strange, what's left of the details of the uniface does not match any other coins of this series. Notice the enlargement of the left to the right as well as look closely. They do not match IMG_20141207_105427.jpg

It's George V. Someone has messed about with it.

Really? Also, there is doubling in the letters on the obverse. Clear and true doubling.

There are no signs of tampering. The obverse is without a scratch. How is that accomplished? Also, the weight is to the tee.

There is no great interest in the UK in vaguely damaged coins. Interest in errors is minimal, compared with what seems an obsession in the US.

Are the heads on these pennies supposed to be larger than others?

Should have head of King George on that side ???

Yes, I just found that it is a scarce large head variation.
