I don't know if others are having this problem. I went the Coin World digital way and find their system virtually impossible to read. Very cumbersome setting the right size to the pages as well as scrolling through.

I agree. You cannot remove the advertisement at the top of the page, so you are down to about 5/8 of a screen.

I did not care for this format when they first came out with it but, what can you do?
I could either get used to it and learn to work with it or cancel my subscription?

The thing that irritates me the most about this "new format", is the loss of the historical archives that were saved under the old format! Currently, I can only go back to May 2014.

With the old format, I could go back 4 or 5 years if not more!

As for getting rid of the advert at the top of the page for a larger viewable area, try this.

In the lower right corner of the page, there a symbol which look kinda like a miniscroll bar. Navigating New Coin World-01.jpg

Click it and the magazine goes to full screen.

It even eliminates your browser title bars from the screen.

Thanks, personally I liked their large editions 10 or more years ago. I will have to try to work with the digital because as a weekly it is the only one affordable to me. Some people have switched to Numismatic News.

I have been a Coin World subscriber since 1987. The digital editions are usually flipped through quickly on Saturdays when it is published and then re-read much more carefully when the print edition arrives in the mail.
