That was absolutely killer--Amanda. You did a fantastic job, and I loved your Shakespeare inspired presentation. :) :) I will fear purchasing a Columbian Half NEVERMORE.

The prize is a Columbian Expo 50c in PCGS MS65 CAC'd (of course, since they're hosting the challenge). :)

Well Amanda, not only do people like your voice, you can speak fast when necessary and with good diction.

I don't think there are many women coin auctioneers in America. I know Christine Karstedt does them or she used to but I can't think of anyone else. I think you be good at coin auctioneering.

There's a few woman auctioneers here in New England not coin specific tho. Being able to say that that fast without a break and not making a mistake is real impressive I know I couldn't do that!

What I find most impressive is the lady's writing ability. What she did is not exactly easy to do and it takes talent.

It's kind of like looking at coins. You can look at a nice picture of one and think, that's a good looking coin ! Or you can look closer, and see what is really there ;)

That was a creative take on "The Raven"! There isn't much in Edgar Allen Poe that lends itself to verse or a tune....

Probably many of us had courses in 19th century literature that featured his works. Not too many here have read "The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym" though virtually everyone has read "the gold bug"--quite appropriate in numismatics. Good luck with the CAC contest.
