I have been reading about how the $1 coin in this set is enhanced for the first time. They are limiting the sets to 50,000 but it says no limit on the coin mintage... could they make more of them? I have seen these as out of stock on the website, but it is not saying all 50,000 are sold yet. I kept checking, and FINALLY was able to order 30 today. Maybe should have bought more? Has anyone here ordered any yet? You might want to do it fast if not.. it looks like they keep having small ordering windows, then shutting it down again.
14,073 sold as of last Sunday. I think it'll be hot for a while then drop to or below release cost. 50,000 is a lot for these. It's not a popular half dollar or something.
You gotta check with some regularity. Everyday at business start and then every hour there after. I'm waiting for the 14,073 number to change since that was the sales figure before I was able to order 10 and after those 10 had shipped.
Hmmm. Checking the tracking information in the notification eMail, I see: Location Date Local Time Activity Louisville, KY, United States 12/05/2014 7:48 A.M. Arrival Scan Nashville, TN, United States 12/05/2014 3:53 A.M. Departure Scan 12/05/2014 2:43 A.M. Arrival Scan Memphis, TN, United States 12/04/2014 10:17 P.M. Departure Scan 12/04/2014 6:03 P.M. Origin Scan United States 12/04/2014 3:00 P.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS Is Memphis the UPS Hub? Why wouldn't an Indiana scan be in the mix? Does the Treasury Department still have a storage facility in Memphis which is where their Fulfillment Center used to be located until PBGS/Novitex took over the contract?

Well HORSE on me. There it is on the packing slip I received today. FULFILLMENT CENTER RETURNS PROCESSING 4638 E SHELBY DR STE 104 MEMPHIS, TN 38118 The exact same address it was in February 2008 before the switchover.
I put in an order for a bunch on 12/4 when the system was taking orders... hope they go through If I get them I'll probably send them to PCGS for grading as I like that they will grade them either Position A or Position B depending on which direction the edge lettering faces. Sure, I know it's 50-50 on the mint state coins which way it'll be so it really shouldn't matter (and it doesn't matter to me), but it does matter to some collectors out there and it effectively makes the mintage of each type 25,000 instead of 50,000
