Cool book I picked up

    Actually bought this from an antique dealer friend who was a serious numismatist years ago Bill Subjack if the name sounds familiar he co wrote the book on early dimes

    At first I read the title as Cook Book.

    Very cool book indeed.

    "Sold at $10,000 each. The highest price ever paid for a coin."

    What are the half Union patrerns worth today? Just like $50 for a 13 liberty nickel or $150 for an 85 trade

    I still have a stone mountain in old max's little manila envelope. Has some pretty colors, but don't want to take it out of there. Too cool as a group.

    There is a long series of them, about 53 editions as I remember.

    the early ones are fairly scarce
