1974 P Bronze? Cent Penny

Here are 3 different 1972 cent pictures. They all weigh 3.1g. What do you think about the one on the left? It looks like bronze. What can I test it with?

And I remember in 8th grade I did a science experiment where we turned a penny gold. But I believe that it needed to be a zinc penny (post-1982). Yours is most likely some type of artificial toning

 

Yours looks almost like something was painted on it and it has started to chip off.

 

What can I test it with to be sure?

 

I must be missing something. Nothing extraordinary in my mind.....
