Here is my "Morgan #43 I cataloged it as having doubled rim, then I learned about "CUD's". So I ask is this a cud? The coin is a 1889-o.
Could we continue the schooling please? I graded this coin at about VF-20. This lists for about $19.20, so what would a premium be?
The amount or percentage a coin sells over its basic or normal value. Like if that coin would make a small or almost any amount over $19.20, that I think would be considered a premium. Someone correct me if I am wrong please. Hope this helps. Phoenix
Cull: A coin that is damaged in some way, for example, hit with a hammer. Cud: Normally on the rim of a coin, a section where the die has broken off and the design is not struck onto the coin. Usually, there will be a blank spot on the coin, and a corresponding weakness on the reverse.
