Found this post on reddit and thought you guys would appreciated it. Reddit doesn't know much about paper money or errors. http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/2nx6my/a_few_years_back_my_uncle_and_i_were_working/ Direct link to $1 note picture: http://i.imgur.com/5Xxr4AR.jpg
Star note errors always amaze me. If it had been spotted, would the BEP replace an error star note with another star?
Yes. Every defective note found, will be replaced with a star note, no matter it's printing when found.
Star note errors are rare. This one is really cool, and it's too bad it wasn't discovered sooner, before the folds and stains. I only have one star error note with a minor cutting error.
Had a question, can mismatched serial numbers happen with non star notes ? Wondered if it was something I should be looking out for. Thanks.
